The construction of the TRT Law Courts Complex Forum concretizes the national architecture public competition won in 2007. An opportunity to create a place, without defined frontiers or limits, opened to common man and society, which only by the presence of them will become fulfilled of purpose: an institution, civic in its excellence. It becomes fundamental the creation of a democratic space: a new monumental square and an expressive urban landmark. The competition basis determined its execution on the north portion of the site and should also contain most part of the complex area and public activities. The predominantly horizontal composition and the pure geometry force of the TRT Forum generate a imposing building, a new Goiania urban landmark, possible by its materiality and innovative technology. An architecture that communicates with the individual offering him at least one moment of pause and emotion. The building is constituted by an exterior and an interior surface. The exterior facade is composed by laminated double glasses whose main function is the protection against excessive solar radiation and all weather conditions. This property is enhanced by the glasses’ gray coloration and by the serigraphy designed especially for the project that corresponds to the ideal transparency and opacity demands. The red color found in some serigraphy vertical tracks symbolically represents the Law’s official color. The glasses are supported by metal claws and steel anchorage joints fixed at only four points that maintaining its perimeter free of any other construction element. The interior facade is composed of aluminum frames and transparent fixed and mobile glasses. The use of the double glass facade enables the strengthen of the building’s formal sobriety besides collaborating to the energetic efficiency of architecture. Besides that it becomes a civic symbol, an imposing and representative architectonical complex ​​of Goiânia’s citizens values.
