- description
Pivô is pleased to host an exhibition celebrating 25 years of Casa Triângulo. Founded in 1988, Casa Triângulo was one of the first establishments in the cultural scene to reclaim São Paulo’s downtown region and the exhibition at Pivô represents a kind of symbolic return to the beginning of its trajectory.
Casa Triângulo is one of Brazil’s most important and respected contemporary art galleries and it stands out for playing a crucial role in the construction and consolidation of the careers of some of the most important artists in the recent history of contemporary Brazilian art. In this exhibition, the gallery brings these artists to the context of Pivô, opening up a dialogue between said artists and the institution’s space, which will also be hosting the exhibition “Some and Others,” by artist Lenora de Barros.
Held at the same time as SP-Arte, the exhibition will be comprised of installations, site-specific pieces and recent and/or new works created by 25 artists from different generations, exploring various techniques, media and languages, and installed on one of Pivô’s floors.
