Established in Curitiba (capital of the Brazilian state of Paraná) in 2008, Arquea Arquitetos was founded by Bernardo Richter, Fernando Caldeira de Lacerda and Pedro Amin Tavares. These young architects, whose foundations lie on transcending client´s expectation, started their collaboration as students of the school of architecture.

Located in Batel neighbourhood, the 1232 building occupies a long and irregular plot. By liberating the ground floor for parking, the two storey apartment building seems to float between both black continuous party walls. Besides the definition of this conceptual shape, the design is focused on defining the various skins that cover the corps.
