LAMA.SP presents swiss artist Mayo Bucher´s first solo exhibition in Brazil. The show, called “art towards architecture” and curated by Michelle Jean de Castro, features three different scales. However they share a common subject: the relationship between art, space and the city. An orange safety net is used on all the pieces, which reinforces the continuity between them.

The visitor first sees the monumental but transitory installation on the façade of Mirante do Vale building. Once inside, twelve images of downtown São Paulo, intervened by Bucher, occupy LAMA.SP exhibition hall. Finally, an abandoned hall on the same floor was used to set a site specific installation. The exhibition of small pieces by Bucher and his both parents give context to the show.
