Loeb Capote studio is well known in Brazil for making interesting industrial buildings, most important of them already featured in our website. This project for Bayer company is halfway between landscape and industrial design, as this footbridge connects the train and metro stations with the Bayer Complex.
|
The project itself, a moving footbridge that crosses the Guarapiranga river, is also somewhere between a machine and a piece of park. The metallic circles evoque both the movement of a wheel and a green roundabout. The feeling when one crosses the bridge is to walk between elevated squares.
