MAPA is the result of the fusion between brazilian practice Studio Paralelo and MAAM studio from Uruguay. Xan House is a weekend home located near Porto Alegre, the southernmost state in Brazil.

The project features a simple scheme: continuous spaces in the ground floor opened to the landscape, leading by a concrete plane; a wooden box on first floor contains both indoor and outdoor private areas.
